Pete started in the foodservice Industry in 1971, working in food sales for 8 years.  After his time in food sales, he began working on the manufacturing side of the industry and soon after began building Miller & Stryker Associates. 

Pete focuses on working with consultants and end-users, creating opportunities and solving problems. “Go Cubs!”


Howard Cohen

Vice President / General Manager / Sales

Howard began his foodservice career in operations, moving to sales in 1984. He spent 12 years in distribution before joining Miller & Stryker in 1996. He became a partner in 2003 and managing partner in 2014.   

Howard enjoys working with end-users and distributors alike.  He is married, has two daughters, and enjoys watching and playing sports, spending time with friends and watching his daughters grow up.


Cheryl Hodges

Partner / Outside Sales

Cheryl joined Miller and Stryker in 2009 after 28 years in foodservice operations.  She has worked in a number of hospitals as well as in contract feeding.  Along with her many years of experience in foodservice operations, she also brings a vast knowledge of food safety as a Certified Food Service Sanitation Instructor for ServSafe and the State of Illinois for the past 23 years. Cheryl became a partner at Miller & Stryker in 2014.  

Cheryl is married with two kids and enjoys spending her time in the outdoors and skiing.


Mike Filippone

Partner / Outside Sales

Mike started his career in foodservice equipment and sales with a national distributor in 1987 as an Outside Sales Rep Trainee, and he has worked on the distributor or manufacturer side of the industry ever since. He joined Miller & Stryker as a partner in 2013 bringing over 25 years of experience.  

Mike is married and enjoys spending his free time with his family. He also enjoys playing golf, despite being fairly mediocre, follows hockey and baseball and enjoys live music.


Kelly Darin

Marketing / Office Manager / Inside Sales

Kelly began her career in foodservice as a baker working in a commercial kitchen as well as running her own cupcake business out of her home.  Since moving to Chicagoland in 2013, she has worked on the manufacturer rep side of the industry and has enjoyed it immensely.  She is passionate about marketing, technology and facilitating sales within the foodservice industry. 

Newly married, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats, family, and friends.  She also bakes a mean cupcake!


Wesley Chervinko

Outside Sales

Shortly after moving to the city for school, Wes entered the restaurant industry.  He has worked in manufacturing, recreation, entertainment and the restaurant industry.  Wes is working towards a BA in Business Marketing from Roosevelt University.  Working at Miller & Stryker has provided Wes with opportunities for his final studies and has increased his success in all areas.  He began a sales internship at Miller and Stryker in May 2015 and joined as a full time sales employee in January 2016. 

Wes likes to balance his academic and work life with his personal interests.  He is a sports enthusiast, and enjoys any nature and aquatic activities - including fishing and boating.


Rafael Sierra

Rafael joined Miller & Stryker at the end of 2016, bringing 15 years of customer service and sales experience with him.  He has been in the foodservice industry for 5 years and is looking forward to continuing to learn and grow.

He enjoys all sports, especially baseball.  He loves watching the World Champion Chicago Cubs!
